Sixers are surpassing all expectations so far and this sub is still full of negativity and/or posts about a guy who is officially not our problem anymore.
The sentiment I’m seeing about Melton rn is the same thing I saw with Roco when he went on a 2 month COLD STREAK here.
He was getting booed every time he touched the ball.
I dont like that shit.
Boo tje guy who isn’t giving their all and thinks their above criticism (like Ben).
Do not boo a guy who is clearly giving their all and just isn’t hitting shots (like Roco, Melton, Tobi).
Melton is a plus defender, one of the best rebounding guards in the league, and a streaky shooter. The shot will eventually fall. I would prefer if he were not starting, but he’s a solid player on a good contract.
He will figure it out, but he needs our support. Don’t be saying stupid shit about him online and save the boos for someone who isn’t giving their all.
3 Point shooting wise sure, he will probably bounce back.
But him somehow thinking he is good enough to drive and finish through multiple defenders is getting boo worthy. He isn’t good at finishing. He needs to know that and stop doing it.
