Invincible Universe Compendium

I need some advice on the Invincible Universe Compendium. I’ve read the main series and as of next week will have all 3 compendiums.

I have never read any of the other series in the universe. Is it worth it to get the Universe Compendium 1 or is there a better way to read the related series?

Do those who have read the other series enjoy them, are they worth reading?
