Context: A family member of mine purchased a Dell Latitude 7400 as an emergency laptop during a vacation trip and when the arrived back home (via airplane if thats of use) the laptop would not power on.
I have checked the charger, there is a green LED that turns on when the power brick is plugged into the wall. I assume this means the charger is working.
When I press the power button on the laptop it’s LED light does not turn on nor does the laptop make any noises. The display also remains off.
I have already tried that trick where you unplug the charger and remove that battery then hold the power button for 30s, no success.
Any ideas of what the issue may be?
TLDR; Laptop has no signs of life when pressing the power button.
