Hi y’all. I’m a Pacers fan in Kentucky who’s just added Houston as a a LeaguePass team this season. full disclosure: massive Harden fan, massive Fertitties hater, and sorry but also hate the Texans). Three huge questions:

  • I remember liking Tate a few years ago, but what are his strengths? I just can’t remember, not shade
  • Does the arena ever play Lil Flip This is the way we ball? If not y’all should force the issue
  • Did I or did I not hear the commentator just yell “Cookies!” at a steal last night (first half)? If so, I’m sold on your audio stream

Parting thoughts…I really liked Houston when I took a road trip to see friends prob 8 years ago. GREAT food and bars (el mesón? gingerman? feast? trying to remember the names). Did not enjoy the maaany DWB pat downs I saw in east TX on the way back home. Didn’t mind the insane traffic, but I feel for you on the humidity.

much love, and hope we watch each other in the playoffs

E: the dunkstronaut is fucking great, but so is the R logo. I hope you keep the naut exactly as is, not as a new logo, just an official visual flair. Dont know why someone here thinks the R is a terrible design. Iconic from an outside view

Tate is a 6’9" bulldog in a 6’5 body. He’s a defensive first guy with a surprising inside game and has really stepped up his 3 ball this year (47%!!!)

But the big thing is his heart and hustle. He’s been busting his ass and playing the right way since he got here. If someone is taking a charge or diving for a loose ball or making sure the other team doesn’t get an easy layup, it’s Tate.

He won’t ever give you 25 points, but he’ll make more plays that don’t show in the stat sheet than anyone.
