Dunkey made a video once that said the Banjo Kazooie reboot (I think it was called Yooka Laylee) was schooled hard by an indie developer and they spent like 10x less money on it.

I got into this indie game called Vampire Survivors. There’s a clone called Army of Ruin which in my opinion is a way better game.

Naughty dog took tomb raider games and elevated them so much with Uncharted that tomb raider was able to have a revival

Battlefield and Battlebit. Battlebit is what Battlefield 2042 should have been. Not the garbage we got with 2042. All EA/Dice had to do was take BF2 Bad company, BF3, BF4, and the movement mechanics of 2042 and make a modern warfare shooter and they would’ve sold millions of copies. N0o0o0o0 they had to try and reinvent the wheel that nobody asked for.

Digimon was a tamagotchi clone that was way more compelling because of the battler angle

Battlebit to battlefield 2042. If graphics aren’t your only concern than I’d say the gameplay in BB is a lot better than 2042

I enjoyed saints row way more than GTA especially saints row 3 and 4

but the reboot /remake sucks ass

Not that it did better per se, but for me, I say Sleeping Dogs over Gta V

It obviously had 1/10 the gta budget, technical quality etc., but damn it was way more fun than everything else

You could jump from car to car while speeding, smash the fuck out of baddies everywhere, and a ton of other cool activities
