• Bullets will be limited to 300(not infinite) during his ultimate but when the barrier goes down his ammo refills to 300 again(He needs a free reload despite him having lots of ammo, slow reload).

  • Allow movement abilities to be used in the cage, letting them fly off above the ground but their movement is still restricted by the chain. This will give players a fighting chance, ability to dodge but they still can’t escape unless you have certain abilities like reaper wraith and tracer recall.

  • Then tune down ultimate cost. What will this do?

- Mauga’s ultimate is the most creative thing to his kit besides maybe his charge. One of the most
unique things you can do with his ultimate is use it as a safe space for you to operate, a
deployable cover. With this in mind, making his ultimate cost smaller, you can give your supports
a rest while they do their own thing(heal dps) or deal with divers. When Mauga was released for a
limited time I found myself using my ultimate as a safe space quite often, I would put it just far
enough from my enemies that they couldn’t immediately destroy my cage or enter it to kill me but
still close enough to do moderate damage. The goal isn’t to get kills but to give a break from
straining our resources every team fight.

So in short, nerf his ultimate however the community sees fit but also tune down the ultimate cost so he can have it more often in team fights. And thats it don’t change anything else. Buffing anything else would just make his character require less skill and would just promote braindead feeding, running into enemies non-stop instead of operating near natural cover and charging in and out of cover. Thats the premise of how his character works.
