I own a pottery glaze brand and a pottery retailer in Mexico wants to be my exclusive retailer in Mexico. They are open to negotiations and the ball is in my court currently.

Wholesalers usually buy $500-$1000 worth of product at a time. Currently no other stores in Mexico sell my product/comparable product. This store would also sell my competitors product.

I am looking for advice for the following -what is a reasonable request for me in terms of how much product they should purchase to remain my sole distributor in Mexico -would requesting a certain amount of product purchased each month be reasonable? This would help me have a consistent income. -if you have sole distributors, your opinions/experience would be helpful -any other info/advice is welcome.
