Our defense isn’t hot garbage but it’s atrocious how much it underperforms when you consider all the high draft picks and money being spent on it. Sometimes we make good plays but when you can literally see guys lining up too far back on 3rd down or when you see Preston Smith lined up on Davante then you know something is horribly wrong.
Our offense is so bad that our defense keeps looking “good” by comparison but it still absolutely is underperforming
This is why Joe Barry should still be fired imo.
