Hi there. Long story shorts, I noticed that when I speak over the person in a videocall (in any videocall application not only in facetime), my phone 14 ProMax mutes the person and prioritize my voice. It is really frustrating as sometimes, I keep asking, please repeat. Have you guys find this issue and be kind and share how to solve it? Really appreciated

    I think this is for echo cancellation. If it didn’t, I suspect the combination of you talking and it playing what they’re saying at the same time would end up with them hearing their own voice. (This still happens on occasion) If you plug in headphones, it should stop doing this.

    I don’t believe this is unique to iPhone and will happen anywhere where the audio is not isolated from the microphone.
