First things first, I had to wake up in the middle of the night in order to pee until I saw Valve’s announcement, Dave2D’s and LTT’s first impressions. I couldn’t believe it was real and it is probably close on what I wanted Steam Deck 2 would be! I’ve always wanted to purchase on the original Steam Deck but I’ve always thought it could have been better, that’s also why I’ve been eyeing for the ASUS ROG Ally for awhile but with this—what seems to be a “mid-generation” refresh—it’s seems to be a definitive choice in terms of price to performance! I am definitely going to purchase this once I’m completely saved up. How about you? Are you also like me thinking this is the best money that you could buy after waiting for so long, or will you skip it even though you don’t have a portable console yet?

I guess, it’s a safe choice to assume that Steam Deck 2 would probably release at least two years from now, with at least better chip, VRR/LTPO screen, and a USB4 port. Fingers crossed!
