I say this as someone who owns Achane. I keep seeing people acting like Achane is an RB1 who will save their season and lead them to the championship. ROS I don’t see him averaging more than 12-15 points a game. He’s splitting with mostert and will get maybe 10 touches a game. At best he’ll have 6 ypc on average and he might get a touchdown. But Achane is indeed a touchdown dependent rb2/ flex play at best.

    I don’t understand your point. Achane’s explosion was while he was splitting touches with Mostert. However, what basis are you projecting his usage off? Where is the data?

    I agree that there is some hype generating for Achane and I think that’s fine based on what we saw earlier in the season. Now how effective he actually is, we won’t know until he is on the field. However, the manager seeking Achane should know their team’s build and whether owning Achane fits. I bought Achane to be my flex (Henry and Monty at RB 1 and 2). Let people build their team man.

    I get it. But it’s really not that clear is it.

    Case in point: his 3 carry 150 yard game. No way he can ever replicate that, there was a LOT of luck involved. But then again, it takes talent to pull off one of those 60-70 yard runs…but two?? In the same game?? After repeatedly putting up big numbers on limited carries? At some point you gotta admit that the mix of talent, play calling and supreme offensive line is also there it’s not just a fluke.

    So, is he as good as his numbers show? No. But did he just get lucky 4 weeks in a row? Also no. He might be somewhat overrated but there is real potential there, he’s not ridiculously overrated.

    Mostert is a dinosaur and he’ll be outworked by Achane. Had a few good runs last week, but Achane is so explosive that he’ll get points in bunches. I will say his playoff schedule is not great, but if he explodes in his first few games back I’d sell him extremely high for a guy like JT or Breece

    The guy getting 20+ pts, 2tds a game and averaging 10+ ypc will get only 5ypc and 15pts at best!!
