Hi all, I started my cleaning business 3 months ago. I got really lucky with a daily bar/restaurant cleaning job that I do in the morning before my part time. One of the cooks I befriended recommended me to a friend of his, whose office space is looking for a new cleaner. It’s a once a week cleaning with 1299 sqft of carpet, 1032 sqft of concrete, 575 sqft of vinyl. Since i have no experience with office cleaning Ive been researching how to price this job. I’ve seen suggestions for hourly, per square foot, per visit or a monthly price, but I would appreciate the insight from business owners who have experience with pricing a job. Here’s the scope of the work:
Offices (Dust, sanitize desk area, throw trash/recycling, replace basket liners, vacuum)
3 main offices with one desk each 1 conference room/office with two desk 4 individual desk in the open area
Downstairs Men’s bathroom (Clean mirrors, sink, toilet, replace soap dispenser, replace toilet paper, throw trash, replace basket liners, broom, mop)
1 mirror 1 sink 2 urinals 2 toilets
Downstairs Women’s bathroom (Clean mirrors, sink, toilet, replace soap dispenser, replace toilet paper, throw trash, replace basket liners, broom, mop)
1 mirror 2 sink 2 toilet
Office bathroom (Clean mirrors, sink, toilet, replace soap dispenser, replace toilet paper, throw trash, replace basket liners, broom, mop)

Break room (clean mirror, sink, replace soap dispenser, replace paper towels, throw trash/recycling, replace basket liners, sanitize table surfaces, microwave interior/exterior, toaster oven interior/exterior, refrigerator interior/exterior once a month, broom,mop)
