I have a Silicon Power A55 2TB SSD. I’ve noticed terrible read performance in CrystalDiskMark. 8.17 MB/s read, 523.14 MB/s write.
What I have tried:
- Optimizing the drive through Windows 11
- Verified SMART is OK
- Verified AHCI is on in the BIOS
- Checked for optional firmware updates in windows.
I added a screenshot of the CrystalDiskMark result. The read is terrible, the write is good. The SSD is maybe 2 or 3 weeks old at this point. Its a SATA SSD, everything is plugged in properly. My NVME boot drive works great, >2,000 MB/s read and write.
