#1 His college coach is Butch Jones and he’s horrific.
#2 Dobbs best attributes can’t be seen wearing a red practice jersey. His escapability and wiggleness and game speed can’t be shown unless it’s a real game.
#3 He had three years backing up Big Ben. Ben never got hurt. Once you spend 3 years and don’t start you get labeled as a loser. NFL stigmas are so stupid.
Dobbs only played at UT because of injuries as well.
I hope Vikings fans know how many UT fans are now Vikings fans. If Dobbs keeps balling out you’re gonna start noticing alot more Orange at Vikings games.
I’m way more pumped for the Vikings Saints game than UT-Missouri.
We are just asking for heartbreak getting this excited after one game… I am okay with it. LFG
I truly hope we can tamper this Dobbs hype down a notch. It could get ugly back there.
I’m not rooting against the guy, but I saw at least one pass on Sunday which tells me why he’s not a permanent starter already somewhere. He wildly overthrew a wide open receiver. A genuinely terrible throw. Accuracy issues can get you into big trouble in the NFL.
Even with all his faults, Kirk Cousins’ accuracy is not one of them, and it’s a big reason he continues to have a solidified starting role in the NFL.
I live in TN and now consider the Vols as my SEC team. They sure have had a lot of heartbreak.
The thing with the Vikings is that they are a top 5 all time franchise as far as winning percentage goes. They are consistently a good team that put themselves in a position to contend for a Super Bowl. But they are 0-4 in the big game. They also have many heart breaks in the nfc championship game. 1998 with the best offense in history and the year with Favre to name a couple.
The Vols have 6 championships. 1998 being the most recent.
Case closed.
What UT?
The only UT there is. The University of Tennessee Knoxville.
Without Tennessee, Texas would be called Mexico.
The guy had one good game and I’m hopeful, but let’s give it a few more games before we name him our franchise guy. I think he’s a solid back up, but he’s a little too careless with the ball at times.
