I want to get the Seiko SRPK29 or SNKE or something but there is a lot of negative information about Seiko’s QC. Does anyone have personal experience with this and is the QC issues noticeable for the average person?

Yes. They wouldn’t sell millions of watches every year if the QC wasn’t good for the average person.
