Now they are basically saying if you want a better refreshed Deck, you need at least a midtier one, if you want the etched glass and improved carrying case with more storage, you need to fork over for the most expensive one.
Mind you that the refresh parts likely costs them more money to manufacture, they might not be able to hit those low price points with the OLED and other improved parts. When the Deck launched, they’ve already stated that the US$ 399 pricepoint was “painful” to get to but they had to in order to compete for the masses.
