I am a Brazilian Timberwolves fan (Yes, the land of the infamous Timberwolves Brasil), and due to the team’s limited visibility here, I sometimes fall a bit behind on certain things.

That said, I’ve noticed in some posts and news related to the team on social media, people simply commenting “Naz Reid.” and many others responding the same thing. I assumed it was simply because he has been incredible lately, but I wanted to confirm if this is some kind of meme or if maybe i’m missing something.

    iirc there was a game early last season that Naz Reid played particularly well in. Ant was asked a generic question about the game during the press conference and his response was just “Naz Reid”. That night, lots of folks on the subreddit started using that as a reply and it’s never stopped.
