Is there a reason why every affordable, < $40k electric car looks like a Little Tikes Cozy Coupe? I can’t stand the look, but I want an electric so bad. I’m not willing to drop $50k just to get a look though, and I won’t drive a vehicle that I can’t stand the appearance of daily. Is this intentional to get you into more expensive models? Anyone know of plans to make an affordable normal looking electric? I’m fine with a Miata sized vehicle, but the smooshed boot look just isn’t selling me. Seriously, every aspect of the Bolt (just as an example) fits every need for me, but the smooshed boot body turns me off.
Just so we better understand, can you rank these in order of worst to best in appearance?
- Kia Niro
- Hyundai Kona
- Chevy Bolt
- Chevy Bolt EUV
- Mazda MX-30
- Nissan Leaf
- Volvo EX30
- Kia Soul EV
- VW GolfEV
- Toyota bZ4X
- Tesla Model 3
- Kia EV6
- Hyundai Ioniq 5
- VW I.D.4
- Fisker Ocean Sport
- Mini Cooper SE
Nissan Ariya looks like a regular Nissan SUV, ioniq 5 has no resemblence to a Little Tike.
