To all of you who enjoy Mario Games, I just wonder what makes the characters involve still fresh and interesting to you after playing them for like 40 years now. This reminds of Angry Birds, started as a platform game, many people supported and got addicted to it. But when they tried to enter Angrey Birds Kart Game and Candy Crush Saga Type Puzzles, they started to fall. Dont get me wrong I like me some Mario Kart, Smash Bros… Im just referring to the guys who buy everything that have mario or luigi on it. I mean for PS Fans, they have Kratos who appeared in like 10 GOW Games, Uncharted, TLOU. They have lots of characters and games to choose from. Crash Bandicoot maybe on the same boat but its just the platform one, kart and the new online battle royale, but I dont think theres 20 Crash Games. While Nintendo creates different types of games but still have Mario as the main character on it. Racing Games, RPG / Open World Type, Arcade, 2D Platform Games, Puzzles… you name it. If Ill estimate maybe theres like hundreds of mario games now?
