Middle button click on Linux

I’m a long time Thinkpad user waiting for the AMD 13 in the batch 5. I’m going to use FW with Linux, specifically Fedora. One thing I’m very used to in Thinkpads is the 3 dedicated buttons above the touchpad, especially the middle button for pasting selected text and closing tabs in Chrome. I’d like to know how the middle button click is performed on the touchpad. Do I just click with 3 fingers?
