Was looking at getting my son his first eagles jersey for Christmas so I went on fanatics. I was glad to see they offered a 15 percent military discount since I’m on a fixed income since I lost my leg in a bombing outside of Kabul 2 years ago that took the lives of 13 of my brothers. Every little bit helps especially around Christmas time when I get the most stressed out. So I add the jersey to the cart, enter my ID me verification, and sure enough no discount gets applied. After trying again and again and nothing changing, I tried adding other items form the site to the cart to see if it was just the jersey. After adding 30 different items and non of them being discounted it’s clear there in no actual military discount.

Do I think I’m entitled to a military discount no I don’t. It’s a blessing each time I can receive one though. I’m more distraught that they advertise they offer one, but don’t actually. Maybe there’s some obscure team napkin hold you save 45 cents on. It’s more the fact that them along with the pro sports leagues affiliated with them brag about how they honor our service members, but really don’t. They just want the good publicity from people outside of the service.

So don’t tell us you appreciate us if you don’t. We don’t need you’re support. Just have enough balls to get rid of the military discount if you’re not going to honor it.

Fanatics is a scam. They charge a “packing” fee as well. Their discounts are never true discounts.
