How do y’all feel about his books? I’ve never read an author that was so inconsistent. I started with Dark Matter which I thought was an exciting plot but not very well written. Then I read Run which I loved and finished in one sitting because I was so into the story. Then I read Abandon and gave up halfway through because the writing was so bad I was cringing. I don’t know what to make of him.

I thought recursion was pretty good but not to the level of hype it’s gotten. Like a solid 3,5/5 but didn’t leave me necessarily eager to go out and read more from him
