The Cowboys having shut out the Giants this year is a perfect time for the #2 QB to see some playing time. Why shouldn’t it be Lance? If the Cowboys truly believe Trey Lance is part of the future, the next 3 games are a perfect opportunity to play some snaps, albeit (hopefully) garbage time. And if the Cowboys are losing any of these three games, or if Dak actually gets hurt, well I guess none of it matters anyway.
I have a feeling some here think I’m suggesting Lance be a starter this week… absolutely not, I’m saying if the cCowboys are up 40-0, Lance could come in.
