I want to direct you to our lineups last year where our most used and best lineup didn’t even have Adams. Tillman is already a decent offensive rebounder and is more athletic than Adams. He’s a decent playmaker too. I don’t think we find a better fit and chemistry match in the market.

If it’s Smart, Luke, Bane, Jaren and X I can’t imagine it fairs worse than that lineup. On paper it’s better because Kennard is more effecient than Brooks and Smart is more impactful than Tyus.

When Morant comes back without Adams we run into the driving lane issue and we defaulted to shooting (Dillon) which drastically effected our effeciency and we weren’t as good. Smart fixes that issue also. He wont chuck like Dillon and will create more offense for other guys. We lose the screen setting (or at least how good Adams is at it)

I think we should go after one of the better young backups on the market like Luka Garza (offensive rebounding screen setting) or Jalen Smith (rim runner, shot blocker)

If we did make a swing for the fences move I think we should trade for Siakam or Turner.
