Just to make it clear, i think the phreak comment was stupid with how you should type something out instead of pinging.

But seriously, pinging in the game has gotten so unhelpful to the point that a lot of people straight up recommend muting everyone at the start of the game, i feel like spam pinging is used way more as a way of being toxic rather than communicating something, im not even sure what point requires pinging 5 or more times rather than 3. Hell, if people stop using pings in a malicious way maybe less people will mute all or recommend muting all at the start of every game.

All the most toxic twitter and reddit users coming forward to say they hate the update kinda feels more like it justifies how good the update is rather than bad aswell.
