Is this actually going to work this time? I feel like this is the Seattle and Baltimore defense and I’m not sure why with how well bringing the pressure works, we’d go back to this.

I’m not a coach and I like MCDC but I just don’t understand this other than theory. It hasn’t worked so far to my knowledge and then players get blamed for not winning 1 on 1s. When we blitz we seem to create a lot more mayhem than containing and collapsing the pocket which gives extra time for the QB to throw. This time the QB is even arguably better than the last attempts at this… disciplined approach to collapse the pocket.

I’m legitimately baffled but again not the professional and maybe someone can explain why this is a good idea?
