Was lucky enough to be in the building and I’ll never forget it. Everyone knows the story already, but I remember so many things about that game:

How it was snowing steadily before the game; perfect Minnesota weather, but also a bit ominous feeling.

How the Vikings absolutely dominated the first half, and even when Brees put together a drive, Everson Griffen batted the pass with his back turned and Barr would have had a pick-6 if not for a horse collar tackle that I’m still bitter about to this day.

How Forbath missed a field goal near the end of the first half to put us up 20-0 and I clearly remember turning to my bro and saying “we’re gonna regret not getting those 3 points,” since the Vikes had dominated but the lead could have easily been 28-0.

How the Saints didn’t score a TD until 3:00 and change left in the 3rd quarter, but then it felt like the floodgates opened and we were self-destructing.

How we kicked that FG to go up by 2 but there was way too much time left on the clock, and Brees got them into position even after we had a chance to win it on 4th down.

How Ant Harris saved the game with that 3rd down stop.

How dead quiet the building was after the Saints kicked it to take the lead.

And how the absolute EXPLOSION of screaming and hugging and chanting and Case Keenum leading the SKOL clap was the most euphoric experience of my life; a feeling that will absolutely never be replicated until we win the 'ship.

    SKOL.
