In Simmons latest podcast, they spent a good chunk of time talking about the Wolves as contenders and he said this about Ant around the ~17 minute mark.

A few days ago, there was a post on here about how Simmons was going to be all sad and shit on the Wolves. I knew it was going to be this. He LOVES Edwards (who doesn’t) and hype up this team.
Anyone who watches the Wolves knows about the Ant timeout. It’s a dunk into defensive play into a three with Ant staring down their bench. He gets another play sometimes but the timeout always comes, unless you’re Joe Mazzula.

I always remember when Kevin Love made his first all star game, he couldn’t keep up with everyone else and just stuck out to me that he couldn’t get to that next level. Ant is the opposite those moments when he takes over everyone else looks to be moving in slow motion and looks like they don’t belong at all.
I think the fact that he was the main guy on Team USA, a team with other all-stars or near all-stars and #1 options, was telling.
I’m all about ANT but this seems pretty hyperbolic right now.
