Most underrated PG of the 2000s. I think one year he led the league in points in the paint! Definitely in the top 5 Spurs all time and I’d put him in the top 10 PGs of all time.
His spin move layups are legendary and still the best to this day… I remember he was the leading player for points in paint in his prime… This coming from an Indian Spurs fan though
We love him and think he should’ve been a top 75 all time player

Love TP. He took Pop’s tough coaching like a man, got thrown into the fire in a win now situation, and helped the team achieve an insane amount of wins. He went from the worst starter in our team, to some fans wanting him off the bench in the early ring years, to Pop spamming him and Timmy every single game, to carrying a huge load when Tim and Manu were older. In his prime, opponents knew the Spurs would spam Tony and Timmy but they were powerless to stop it. He was such an attacking guard that some NBA fans would place more traditional point guards like Chris Paul ahead of him. Either way, I don’t think it’s crazy to say he was the best point guard in the league for at least 3 or 4 years.
The personal scandals of cheating on his wife, sleeping with a teammate’s wife, and his relationship with Kawhi brought him down in some people’s eyes, which is understandable.
