Hello Bird Gang.
It’s been a bucket list item for me to see the Eagles at the Linc. I have never been to an NFL game before. I told myself my first one would be at the Linc. I finally did it! I am attending the Eagles game in December!
I am from Florida and have never been anywhere cold cold before. My wife lived in the Valley for about a decade so I’ve been going off her advice and we’ve been getting thermals and layers for the upper and lower body but we were talking about footwear. She said she used to have to get some boots to walk her dogs but she’s never been to a sporting event in winter. I guess my question is, what kind of shoes should we get? We’re both teachers so we wear running shoes at school but that has a ton of ventilation and I feel like my socks would get soaked in snow.
What footwear would you recommend? Looking for shoes and sock recommendations.
Thanks and Go Birds!
Assuming the temperature is below 40 degrees F, you’ll want to wear boots and, if you have them, wool socks.
The body parts most susceptible to getting cold when you are sitting and not moving around are your extremities (head, hands, feet) and you’ll want to keep them warm. If the rest of your body is warm but your feet are cold, you’ll be miserable.
