It’s interesting that despite MJ obviously having a huge ego himself he’s never actually openly called himself the GOAT while LeBron has several times

This is even despite the fact that I think MJ still has the 65/35ish or 70/30ish edge among general NBA fandom as well as NBA players and if LeBron retired tomorrow MJ would still be ranked 1 on the majority of released “top 10 players” lists 10-15 years from now

Inb4 r/nba furiously googles whichever obscure human being is the actual lacrosse GOAT in order to fake outrage on his behalf:

how dare they slander Dartmouth McHamptons! His double twist overhand revolutionized the game. He played the game the right way; hard work and no dazzle-dazzle. LeBubble couldn’t even hold his helmet let alone realize his clutch in late game situations!

    Also:

    LeCrosse

Probably truth in that. Jim Brown is in the lacross hall of fame. Lebron much bigger, strong, and faster than Jim Brown.

He’s not wrong. Imagine some 5’10 frat kid from UVA trying to stop LeBron running down the field
