Hi, so I’m just looking to see peoples thoughts on this as I’ve been waiting for a steam deck 2 only due to wanting a better performing handheld although we’ve already got handhelds that use the z1 extreme & similar apu’s already, the steam deck still has some main benefits over those which is the reason I’m still opting for one over those.

As much as i would have liked better performance I only plan on using this to play mostly indie games & emulators as my main pc that includes a 4090 would be used to play all the more demanding games.

Honestly the new steam deck oled imo is more than just a small refresh which is why I’m highly considering buying one; its everything I imaged the steam deck 2 to be minus the better apu & although no performance increases it should still be able to play all the games I intend on playing maxed out 60fps+ which I’m kinda already answering my own question but would still like to hear other peoples thoughts.
