There really doesn’t seem to be any modern equivalent to Red Alert 2, and even Company of Heroes is getting pretty old and was always pretty small scale. Just what happened to the isometric viewpoint, progressive build-tree tech, big map, fog of war style strategy game? Am I just overlooking a really good one that everyone’s playing?

    More 4X style than an old school RTS but Paradox makes some dope grand strategy games like Europa and Stellaris, they’re real time with a pause feature. Steep learning curve but lots of fun.
