It’s probably the most over used word in this sub to describe players on winning teams. A lot of times it’s misplaced. I would like to know who you project the “League Winner” to be? I will throw a few names out there:
- Devon Achane returning in time from IR
- Puka Nacua continuing his great rookie season
- AJ Brown providing WR1 value as a 2nd/3rd round pick
- Keaton Mitchell. Does he break out?
Who do you project will be THE league winner?
Dude in my league has the most basic roster but is in 2nd place solely because he has tyreek hill
I own achane, puka and AJ brown and your list made me happy.
Jokes aside though, I think achane.
AJ Brown was already drafted pretty high
CMC
Real answer: Josh Jacobs is finally free to fly—free from McDaniels.
He didn’t play for 3 weeks and he is already up to the RB7 in ppr. Kamara
QB: Stroud is probably the best relative to draft position value RB: Etienne and Breece are both outperforming their ADP massively WR: AJB is the WR2 being a r2 pick, Puka if he gets back on track, Zay Flowers if he cooks down the stretch TE: Laporta/Kincaid are smashing their ADP rn
Kyler Wilson connection
the fact nobody has said kyren williams is insane
It will be a random backup rb that has the starter hurt during the playoffs. No way to predict it
Tyreek Hill, Chase, CMC
Achane
Breece Hall
Travis Etienne Jr
Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow
Hurts, AJ Brown
Prescott, CD Lamb
Montgomery, Gibbs, Goff, ARSB, LaPorta
Kyren Williams coming back and continuing to be a top 5 RB
Kyren Williams when he comes back, obviously.
Etienne. My only reasoning is because that’s what I need him to be. Or CJ Stroud. Please.
Mark Andrews
I have a couple of more dark horse options people might be overlooking:
Evan Engram: Positive TD regression and the typical Jaguars “second half of season boost” propel Engram to become the TE2 ROS
Marquise Brown: Becomes a low-end WR1 ROS with Kyler back in top-shelf form
Amari Cooper: With the Browns early-season turbulence at QB out of the way, Amari finishes a top-10 WR ROS, albeit still with his usual boom-or-bust swings
