Here’s why:

  1. Tepper hired Rhule and gave him final day over the roster. It’s well documented how Matt Rhule got his way with big roster decisions during his tenure. Who knows if Fitt was on board with all of those decisions, but ultimately, he didn’t have veto power, so those trades put Fitt in a terrible situation.

  2. This offense was built and succeeded (at the end) as a power run team. We didn’t have the WRs to run a college based spread system and we certainly don’t now. Fitt hasn’t had a chance to get Reich’s players in, and Tepper hired a guy who doesn’t fit our personnel.

Again, not saying those guys are innocent. Just that Tepper deserves the lion share of blame here.

    A good GM gets good players, and a good coach schemes around the players we actually have instead of trying to force their own shitty schemes to work with the wrong personnel. We don’t have talent, and Reich doesn’t adjust his play calling to our players. Both suck, and both should be fired
