I drive 2016 Mazda 3 and I want to upgrade the speakers. I’m thinking of buying the JBL 601C. The guy working there straight up told me it wasn’t worth upgrading speakers if I wasn’t going to get an amp.

Will the speakers themselves actually improve sound that much? Keep in mind I’m not a person that blasts music full volume, just trying to improve the quality of my music.

The current speakers make a bad sound when I turn up the volume a bit.
