So the fellas at the dealership said that a coolant flush at 30k miles is recommended, but, when I looked in my Owner’s Manual, it said that I wouldn’t need one until 120k miles or 10 years.

I barely know anything about cars other than how to start them and put gas in. Am I getting my leg pulled here?

    The old school rule is 100k and every 30k after that. The main reason for the is the corrosion inhibitor ingredients in the coolant.

    But like many have posted, follow the service guide for the car!
