I replace ALL my brake pads, rotors & some brake line may 2022, all mechanics I’ve been to recently said they still look brand new. But when I put my foot on the brake there is LOUD grinding again! Went to mechanics again and they said my left & right wheel bearings on the front need replaced so 1k later I get my car back and I don’t even drive 5ft before it starts grinding AGAIN and all the lights pop back on!! I’m beyond irritated & at this point don’t know what the issue could be and I’m so sick of paying for repairs that don’t fix anything.
I also drive a 2009 Saturn Vue. Don’t mind the tire light, that’s just because I have 2 sensors that need replaced. The other lights are the issue.
Pull the ABS fuse and the grinding will go away because your ABS doesn’t/won’t work. Service Stabillitrak is giving this away that the ABS is messed up. Did they change your brake fluid? Old fluid can eat through the modules. You will want to get them replaced for the issue to go away. When you say the brakes grind does it feel like it’s not really slowing down?
