I never read the comics, so my only impressions of him were from Season 1. Even in Season 1 not much was disclosed about him, but the dude is Abraham Lincoln. I always thought of him as being wise, amiable and good natured. Now he just kind of seems like an asshole, and that whole hooking up with Kate thing definitely brought his moral code down a few pegs in my eyes. I can’t blame his misgivings about Invincible, but why is he a jerk to everyone else? Maybe you just stop caring after a couple millennia.

All of his anger in season 1 seemed pretty justified, so he didn’t get too many chances to come off like an asshole. But S02E01 he was a raging asshole. And deciding to hook up with Duplikate makes him like a super giga asshole. I should never be siding with Rexsplode in a scene. That’s how huge of an asshole The Immortal is being. And none of this even touched on what an asshole he was to Mark.
Well he’s trying to push the team to they’re best. Omniman killed the number 1 team in the world, compared to the old guardians the new new guardians are terrible even Cecil states this multiple times and if Cecil is worried you know there’s a problem.

After the invincible war he decides to retire and marry Kate and the two get a mansion all while invincible helps rebuild the world
