I started a small business back in February and it’s too much for me to keep up with. I work full time and want to go back to school full time as well. It’s a small pop up business that sells artisan foods at farmers markets and other outdoor events. We have been moderately successful. I’m looking to find the cheaper options to list a business for sale but was wondering if anyone had any experience selling or buying a small business.

Your business has no real value most likely. It’s less than a year old.

I always recommend to reach out to competitors. They’ll sometimes buy companies. You could also reach out to other vendors who you see at the farmers markets who might want to expand.

Is it worth it to partner with someone and have them keep 90% and you get 10%? They do the work but can call you for advice/information etc? Passive income while you go to school and work. Better than nothing and you already know the biz.
