minus-square.Donuts@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up10·2 years agoI was intrigued, so looked it up: they use an 8 bit integer for indexing the players (2^8=256), and one slot is reserved for the server itself. So that leaves 255/2 = 127 on both sides, the remaining one is not used.
