A quick follow-up to this post (thank you to all for the help btw!), I was able to terminate the Cat6 cable to a keystone jack, punch it down, connect it to my switch, and confirmed getting internet in a room - so it works (hooray)!

So now that I think I know how to get the actual networking going, I could use some suggestions on how to handle the cables that are just hanging out here. I can push the cables up a little, but I think maybe only about 6-12 inches or so. Meanwhile there’s probably like 5-6 feet of cables spooling out. What would be the best way to make this look tidy?

I have a punch panel and switch that I’m planning to mount into this structured panel. Should I just zip tie the excess cables above the panel and switch? Is there a better way to do this?

Again, appreciate any suggestions. Thanks again!
