    $6,000 for a system that works only up to 37 MPH and only on specifically mapped highways? These limitations sound very similar to the Mercedes system.

    “L3” sounds better than “L2” (higher number, yo!) but the limitations layered onto these first-gen L3 systems are so severe that they’re functionally ridiculous compared to the top-tier L2 systems that execute full drives door-to-door, drive on city streets, mind traffic signals, execute turns, and drive on highways at traffic speed.
