What did everyone end up getting? This is my first venture into IEM’s mainly to upgrade from the Bluetooth Sony’s I was using before. I got the Moondrop Dawn Pro and KZ X HBB PR2’s !(I know I know but they were 16 quid and I wanted to try planar’s for cheap. I’ll EQ out any harshness on my devices as well as some micropore tape on the nozzles)

    I got two things during the sale:

    • Moondrop Variations
      • Mainly got them for when I’m forced back into the office here soon.
      • Can’t use my ZMF Atticus as it is all open seating and the pelican hardcase looks like one for a pistol. That and without assigned seating/cubicle, I can’t leave them overnight like I did my previous job prior to the pandemic.
      • Will use them with my Pioneer XDP-100R which I got years ago.
    • SMSL AD18
      • Will replace my Schii Modi DAC and the Nakamichi Receiver 3 I’m using as an amp for my two Bose 301 speakers. (Receiver and Speakers were given to me by my folks as they were collecting dust.)

    Got them both for ~$470, not including tax, thanks to the coupon codes and the small amount of coins I had.
