Outside of the Hurts, who would you absolutely pick from the current NFC starting QB’s over Sam Howell if you were starting a team tomorrow (list below)? I can’t definitively say anyone.
I know it’s too early to say Sam is the guy and don’t wanna jinx it, but looking at the NFC QB situation I can’t help but get a little giddy.
- Taylor Heinicke (Desmond Ridder Benched) -Kyler Murray -Bryce Young -Tyson Bagent (Justin Fields Injured) -Dak Prescott -Jared Goff -Jordan Love -Brett Rypien (Matthew Stafford Injured) -Josh Dobbs (Kirk Cousins Injured) -Derek Carr -Tommy DeVito (Daniel Jones Injured) -Jalen Hurts -Brock Purdy -Geno Smith -Baker Mayfield -Sam Howell
Man, when written out and you really look at it, that’s a pretty gross list.
If I’m gonna be honest . Not being bias . I’d choose Howell, for the simple fact that he’s shown that he is learning week by week & is producing at a high level while being very young & a late draft pick. It obviously benefits the team that he’s a 5th round pick. But my opinion doesn’t mean much . 🤞
He’s also super young, even if it takes him two years to work everything out, he’ll still be 25.
If you want a serious answer it’s probably Goff
If you want my real answer it’s Timmy DeVito
He him
What happened to Purdy? He was doing well for a 10-game stretch, I thought he might be the next Brady
