Here are the stats.

Klay Thompson (not including today’s game): 16.4/2.0/3.6 on 57TS% and 2 turnovers

Grayson Allen: 12.8/3.1/5.2 on 66TS% and 1.8 turnovers.

I think Allen’s been slightly better this year. Klay’s increased scoring volume does not make up for the gap in efficiency, playmaking and rebounding. And Allen’s essentially been the Suns co-second option alongside Eric Gordon with how little beal and booker has played so it’s not like he’s feasting on weaker defenders.

Defensively, Allen is quicker and better at keeping up with guards on the perimeter. Allen also hustles more. Klay matches up better with bigs that aren’t super strong/tall/offensively skilled but having him on those types of players means he’s going to give up a ton of offensive rebounds. Klay’s always been a terrible rebounder especially for someone his size but it’s more noticeable this year when the warriors go extra small with Chris Paul.
