This community is awash with favorable posts about Dillon when he is playing EXACTLY THE SAME as last year.
Its just that he doesnt have a Memphis jersey on, so the community can appreciate his exceptional and versatile 1-on-1 defense. Which we loved and appreciated for years.
Similarly, if and when JJJ leaves our team, I bet everybody would suddenly have the “maturity” to appreciate that he is best suited as a roaming block-hunting 4 and not a classic 5. But because he is still on Memphis, the community insists on evaluating him as a classic 5 and posting his rebounding counting stats ad nauseum. Just like ya’ll were determined to only evaluate DIllon as a feature of his TS% last year, and to ignore his credible defensive impact stats.
