Yes steam didnt use “NEW” chipset. This is their whole arguement for insisting people to not expect new hardware from steam for couple more years & buy the now older version of deck until recently💀.

Can see lots of ppl having to go through the trouble to returning their recent stem deck purchase for the upgraded model.

The upgrade is massive enough to make the old deck feel dated.
