Hello. At the start I am sorry for my bad english. I will try to explain the best as I can.

So wt the start I bought SD couple of days ago before OLED thing. It was refurbrished version. I love SD and it works great ( only left trigger works clumsy but nevermind).

I had wrote to steam about my sittuation that now SD is a lot of cheaper (512 GB version) and os there any chance to refund SD. They gave me 2 options.

I can fully refund SD and get all money. It should arrive to them in time close to SD Oled release. Refurbished SD 512 GB before Steam deck OLED is in simillar price as SD OLED 512GB. However I love current version of SD and I am not sure if waiting another 2 weeks is worth it. I would choose refund to Steam Wallet to make everything faster. Is the new screen, battery and RAM really worth refunding steam deck, waiting for money, buying new SD OLED 512GB, waiting for SD to arrive and praying that there won’t be nay issues with it? I also didn’t refund any of hardware in my life and I am not familiar with it. I am a little bit scared that I will do something wrong.

On second hand support was really nice and give me alternative. I can keep my SD, I dont have to send it back and they will refund my money to steam wallet and they will buy again my version of steam deck. It means I will get the diffrence in price from SD before OLED and now for actually… nothing. I will just instant get momey to my Steam Wallet.

What would you guys do in my sittuation? OLED seems great with all improvments but it is worth to wait again? And the second options can just give me money for doing nothing.
