Hello everyone! I’m quite new to the game, reached level 30 on account few weeks ago. I played 10 placement matches. The outcome of these matches determined my starting rank and I got silver II in solo/duo and gold II in flexible 5x5. I have no idea how this happened, because my performance in game is bad, to say less. I am only learning how to play and because of this ranks I got, people think I have to be good and expect a good game for me. But when I start to play everyone complain about me. To be honest, I think I deserve to be in Iron somewhere, but here we are. Is there a reason why this happened? Maybe there was a mistake and I should write to support? Or maybe someone can explain what happened to me? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Those ranks are considered roughly average. Play more games and if you’re below average then you’ll eventually fall and if you’re average or better then the placements were accurate. It took 50 games before a bronze player playing on a challenger account was playing versus bronzes again so you can trust that the matchmaking will eventually sort you correctly.
